JAMES HEBDEN son of David,was born Abt. 1754, and died 21 December 1827. His marriage was to MARY DRIVER on the1st November 1778 in Bingley.
Their eleven children were

ELLEN HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1778; m. THOMAS SMALLS, 17 October 1803, Keighley.
ANN HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1780; m. HARTLEY WADDINGTON, 29 June 1802, Bingley.
JOHN HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1782.
MARY HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1784; d. 8 December 1859, Morton Banks, Bingley. She married CHRISTOPHER SAXTON One of their children was called GEORGE and probably a distant cousin to his future wife Nancy.
SARAH HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1788; m. JOSEPH PICKLES, 4 April 1815, Bingley.
SUSANNA HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1791, Keighley. She married George Jackson and had a son Alfred
BETTY HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1793; m. HENRY SCOTT, 31 January 1814, Bingley.
HANNAH HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1794; d. 18 December 1864; m. JOHN GREENWOOD, 20 September 1819, Bingley.
THOMAS HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1800.
And
JAMES HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1784; d. Abt. 1848. This JAMES, (son of James) was going to live through the start of what would become known as the industrial revolution. Watts steam engine had just bean invented which would revolutionize the weaving industry of the north and bring great changes to the area in which James was living. What we don’t know, not being aware of James’s profession, is whether it would make any difference to his life in particular. By May 1803 he married MARY MOOR in Keighley.
James and Mary only produced five children, four of which were girls, MARY, SARAH, AMY and ELIZABETH, all born between 1804 and 1811. Then came another JAMES, born abt 1820 in Bingley. Mary went on to marry JOHN WRIGHT but no further details are known and notihing more is known about her three sisters.
JAMES went on to marry MALLY ?. Nothing more is known of her or where or when they married but they did have two sons:
THOMAS HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1849 and JONATHAN HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1851. Nothing further is known of these two children.

James’s younger brother THOMAS (born about 1800) married ANNE BEAULANDS on 25th January 1821 in Keighley and had seven children.
MARY HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1820, GEORGE HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1825 ,WILLIAM HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1826 ,ELIZABETH HEBDEN, b. Abt. 1827

No more is known of descendants of these children, or indeed, Thomas and Anne
