UPDATES!!!

8/21/02 Okay, I've REALLY been messing up here. So much for this MONTHLY update..eh..sorry.. AGAIN!!!! Well, here's wut has been goin on in the life of PRODIGY. Since the last update, Prodigy has performed at numerous occassions including Benicia's annual 4th of July celebration and St. Catherine's showcase, which was held July 12th. On the 14th of July, we performed at the Solano County Fair. On July 20th, the group peformed for Lyle's cousin's wedding reception at Hiddenbrooke, and dang...the area was HELLA small to dance on. It was hilarious, but fun. On the 25th of July, the group performed in Santa Rosa for a video class in which one of our friends and cousin to Prodigy members Olivia and Ricky asked us to perform. This guy is none other than former member of Fusion Nelson. If you guys watched Pinnacle waaaaay back in 1999, he's the one with the blue hair. Newayz...the group also performed in Sacramento on July 28th for a group of Japanese boy scouts (?) who went to Japan to perform a routine that Jordan, Janine, and Lyle taught to them. As of right now, the group is currently getting ready to perform this weekend, August 24th and 25th, at Oakland Chinatown's annual Street Fest. Come out and watch us!! The following weekend, the group will be performing in San Francisco for the annual Pistahan on both the 31st and September 1st. Hopefully all of you can make it once again to watch Prodigy perform at both events. Sorry for not updating the website like I really wanted to, but the group has been busy, myself included, with all the performances. As for me personally, I was busy trying to get my own website done...which still has a few bugs in it. You'll find a link to it on the LINKS page of this website. Also, I've added a few new pics here on the PICTURES page, along with the one you see here to your right. Once again...my apologies to all, especially Prodigy, for not being able to update this like I should have. I swear...from now on, I'll REALLY have it updated monthly.. FEREALZ!!!!!! Aight then, thanks again for all the support and hopefully we'll see you all at the upcoming gigs...peace...

6/24/02 Okay,okay, OKAY! So I didn't update this bi-weekly style like I really wanted to..sheesh. Okay. How bout this? I'll update this on a monthly basis. Yeah...that will be easier I thinks? Hehe... okay...so here's wutz been going on with PRODIGY. Well...June 1st was Lunar. Thanks for those who did come out to watch. We got third place..=*( It'z kool tho...much props to DV8 and Versatile Styles for doin thier thang. Then, there was Jesse Bethel's Cultural Night on June 8th. Although it wasn't the best performance in the world, it was practice for the next day. What was the next day, you might ask? Well...it was Fiesta Filipina. Yup..on June 9th, Prodigy took the stage alongside groups like Gen 2, Pinay, and 4th Inversion. It was hot and umbrellas were all over the place, especially hitting my head countless times (thanks Janine=P). Wutup GEN 2?!?! When shall we do our collabo? Oh yesss...PRODIGY member Jordan celebrated her birthday on June 15th. Heh...she's now sweet 16..awww. N/e wayz...the group will once again perform this weekend in the city as well as for Krystel's 18th at Travis. Not only did I update this with more info, I also put a few new pictures like that drawing you see here. The new pix are in the pix page. Aight then...I PROMISE to update this on a MONTHLY basis from now on, K? Errrrite...laterz yallz!!

5/18/02 First off, I just wanna thank everyone who came out to watch PRODIGY at Bethel's Kamikaze Night 2. It was hella loud out in that crowd ^_^ Thank you to the people in charge for allowing us to perform there once again.

Since I haven't updated this site in a while, I'd like to tell you all what's been going on with PRODIGY. First of all, on April 7th, the group attended a dance competition called International Dance Challenge and came home with the Gold! Hehe..kinda like the Olympics, eh? N/e wayz...the group also has several other gigs ahead of them. On June 1st, the group will be going up against Versatile Styles and DV8 at LUNAR 2002. On June 8th, the group will be performing at Jesse Bethel HS's Cultural Night. On June 9th, the group will be performing at Fiesta Filipina 2002 in San Francisco. Has any of you picked up any Filipino Newspapers lately? On July 4th, you can catch the group in Benicia performing for the annual Benicia 4th of July Celebration in the park off of Second Street, across from Safeway. Come out and support the group!

I also added another page of pictures and also changed the pictures here on this home page as well as the splash page, in case you didn't notice. Heh...wellerz..that is all for now. From now on, I intend on updating this site with more info about PRODIGY on a bi-weekly basis so keep on visiting the site often, errrrrrite? Thanks for the support!!!!
