What Defines Loyalty

True is the spirit of the Loyalty girl

Reaching for the banner of the purple and the white

Knowing there is a purpose to each spirit week

To feel pride in her school

A sense of herself

Through the lending of her hand

The sharing of her time

To benefit another

To make a difference in a life

No matter how little

Matters

Through the smile she extends

The warmth and kindness she displays

She honors her commitments

Sets her own goals

Takes responsibility for her life

She builds on the foundation

And reaches for the sky

All the while knowing she must work

To get where she wishes to go

And find the courage to spread her wings and fly

Into the best of her life
