What We Do: New York City WAND members have participated in various rallies, attended local and national conferences, and tabled at Indigo Girls concerts and other events.

Our Plans: Several members of our WAND chapter participated in an exciting training with Bobbie Wren Banks, from Atlanta, Georgia. We learned all about federal budget priorities, Missile Defense and other weapons systems, and how to effectively lead our own teach-ins. Hopefully we will begin these this coming fall at colleges around the city.
