While it
was not the Ritz Carleton (as promised) we all had a good time anyway.
This was our first retreat with the new youth leaders Joe and Cathy
Tierney. We spent a lot of time sledding, and upon hindsight, it was
a miracle no one got seriously hurt, although Diana Chen did sled
off the edge of a slope and right into a pine tree. We also had a
formal dinner where all the guys had to give flowers to the girls
and seat them. Not sure where that was going, particularly in the
context of the now infamous "virginity cake" talk. Don't
know or don't remember? Ask someone else, this is a Christian website!
