On a list of foreigners imported in the ship Adventure Galley, John Mirion, Commander, from Rotterdam. Qualified October 2, 1727:

The ship Adventurer, Jno. Davis, Master, also landed the same day in the same port. At least one list I have seen confused the passenger lists of the two ships.

There was a Jacob Riser, son of Jacob and Maria Rugstuhl Riser, born 31 Jan 1703, Thurgau, Switzerland, who would have been 24 in 1727. There was a Jacob Riser, son of Adam and Catharine Frukingerin Riser, born 10 Jan 1712, Thurgau, Switzerland, who would have been 15 years old in 1727. The names Jacob and Maria are found in later generations of the Rizors. The name Adam is not.

The Jacob born in Donegal Twsp Washington Co., Pa, was probably born about 1760-1770. If this is true, then there would probably be another generation between a Jacob who landed in 1727 and one born in 1760-1770. The search continues.
