After 7 years of great music, touring, and amazing fans, Julien is disbanded. We have decided to pursue other venues of interest. Throughout the years, 9 musicians have been part of this family. Josh(Juice)-drums, Nik Larson-bass, Andy Roche-bass, Billy Golden-bass, Kevin Ayers-drums, John Lee-bass, Jessica Barnes-bass, Peter Dotson-guitar, and my self Andy Noll-guitar.

It has been a total trip playing many great shows, as well as the shitty ones, playing with great bands, and fun venues. I personally will miss every one of you.

We will leave this site open for all members to give links to current projects. Good luck to you all. And most of all, a special thanks to all our fans, friends, and family for the support.

Much love,
Andy Noll

On March 14th, we will be playing with our sister band, Saving Face from Madison at Bricktown on 3rd and Main St. Show starts at 9:30. 21+, sorry minions. Hope to see you all out there.

(12-5-01)Hey Cats! A great show is lined up with Julien, Jerk Alert and Jabber Box on December 15th at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds. Show starts at 8:00 and $7.00 at the door. We go on first with Jerk Alert following and Jabber Box heading. This is an all ages show W/ working bar. Should be fun!!

We had a busy week last week. Played at The Gamehenge in Platteville Wisconsin on Thursday which I might add was a BLAST. Special thanks to all of you who stopped in and took a listen and had not just a few but a shite load of beer with us. On Saturday we played at the Liquid Lyrics Lounge in Madison Wisconsin. A slow night for the town and bar, but we made the best of it. Thanks to Pat and Amid at the bar for showing us a great time. Thanks for the Rolling Rock! Take care troopers!

(10-4-01)Holy shit its been a long ass time huh! How the hell have you guys been?? Things have been going great for Julien. We played last weekend at Molly Pub here in town with Saving Face(our sister band). We have traded shows with eachother in the last couple of months between Dubuque and good ole' Madison.

The SPF has been selling pretty damn good. Got your copy yet? Stop on over to Moondog (if they still have any), or CDs 4 Change.
We do have about 5 more shows lined up. And I promise, DEAR GOD DO I PROMISE to let everyone know when and where they are. Again, more apologizing on how much our site lacks... well... EEEEEVERYTHING!

(4-23-01) Ahloh! Things are hip-n-happenin'. SPF (Spastic Plastic Fantastic) Is on the market as we speak. Been selling a ton of them at the last few shows. Thank you all for buying them. In the next week, we will start selling them at Moondog Music, CDs 4 Change, Lighthouse, Downtown Discs (Platteville), and the "boss", Sam Goody.

We are very excited for this weekend, for we break into the Madison scene at Dudleys Bar with Texas's very own Mandarin. The show is on 4-28-01 and starts around 9:00. Hope to see you all there.

Also, if you want to purchase Spastic Plastic Fantastic, email us at cd@julien.cc Till' next time troopers!

(2-12-01) Hey all! Been quite some time, again. Here is the scoop for the next coming months. Our new album Spastic Plastic Fantastic is off getting mastered by Jeff Dear at Chicago Masterworks and should be back soon. We should have copies available for the public in two weeks from now. Selling price will be $10.00. We have been working day and night getting shows together. Some shows are finalized, some are up in the air. One of our main targets is Madison Winsconsin. Check out our up and coming shows at our gigs page. If you would like to sign up for a copy of Spastic Plastic Fantastic, email us at cd@julien.cc Check back for new and improved MP3s in the next week. Thanks troopers!

(9-9-00)Ticky ticky slim shady. Yo peeps. Again, it has been quite some time since we have spoken. Ok, heres the skinny. We have about 13 songs to choose from for our CD that everyone has been waiting for. Some will make the cut, others will be passed between close friends as reminders that.. well... shit happens. On a lighter note, our first single, Because, hit local radio stations. Now the only thing we ask of you at this point is to call them and bug the fuck outa them to play this tune. Tell them your holding hostages and wont release them till you hear that god damned song one more time. Y105 is the target.. now annoy and destroy =)
Back to the CD. We are mastering the final tunes and getting ready for cover art and copyright schtuff to kick in. The people that have emailed us as cd@julien.cc will get the first pick with a signed cover. If you havent done so, go NOW, quick like a bunny! We'll keep you informed! Hope to you see you at Breezers on the 14th!!

(6-26-00)Soldiers of the frontline.. Its been quite some time since you have seen whats new with us.. so here's the skinny, we played at the Fair Grounds with Jerk Alert and U4EA a few weeks ago. We recorded that show and plan on puting some of the songs on the album. We are going up to Smart Studios on the 27th of June and check out the tunes and see what we can all do. The songs that sounded best to us are..., All The While, Fraggle Rock, Henry VIII, the jam at the end of Chinese Checkers, and one song that ended up being magic. Those of you who were at the show will know what extra song we will add. A week later after this show, we played down at the Instant Replay here in good ole' Dubuque with Tastes Like Burning. The show was a blast, packed the house, and the ladies plastered the dance floor like fleas to a Jack Russle Terrier. We will let you know the scoop and release dates on the CD when we find them out ourselves.

(5-29-00)Hey troops! We played One Flite up a bit ago. A good show with an interesting croud. We love you guys, all shapes and sizes. We are gettin' ready to record our show on June 4th at the 4-H building at the fairgrounds. We will be playing with Jerk Alert, and U4EA. Other bands that might join the list are Dr. Minimus, and No Moms. Who knows, its gonna be fun no matter what happens! The show will start around 6:00 and run till,.... till,.. god knows when. The cover is $5.00 a head (sicko). We hope to see you all there jumpin', bobbin', and havin' a good ole time! See ya there!

(4-29-00)We Just played Loraspolooza 2000'. After the band "Tree Frog" performed, we took the stage with a cloud covered sky above us. And hell, wouldn't you know it, its started raining after 3 songs. We opened with "19" as usual, then played "Old Man" , a classic song for the old school Julien fans. We were then told to play one more song due to the rain. We started playing "420". THATS when the sh*t hit the fan. The grounding went crazy on stage and we literally felt the energy. ZAP BABY ZAP!! We will be playing at Loras College soon. Keep checking back in the next coming months for that show.
