WAKE UP!
If you have a Pokémon that can rest to restore it's HP points, it will usually take 2 turns before it will wake up to fight again. Instead of waiting it out while your Pokémon takes hits, use the Poké Flute recieved from Mr. Fuji in the Pokémon Burial Tower in Lavender Town to wake him up one turn early!

HOW TO FIND EEVEE
Go to Celadon City. Eevee is in the Celadon City mansion, only, you can't get her by walking in the front doors. Instead of walking in the front, there is an entrance around the back of the mansion. Use the stairs until you reach the top floor. There an Eevee will be waiting for you.
STRATEGY FOR CATCHING TOUGH POKEMON
Make sure you have Ultra Balls before hand. When in a battle with a tough or rare wild Pokémon, use a
Pokémon that can deliver damage in small amounts so that you can get the wild Pokémon's HP to just the right catching level. Once you have its life down, use some sort of attack that will put the wild Pokémon to sleep or paralyze it. Then it's yours.
LOCATION OF THE 3 RARE BIRDS
The three rare birds in the game are Zapdos (The Electric Bird), Articuno (The Ice Bird), and Moltres (The Fire Bird). All three birds are on level 50 and are very powerful. Zapdos, the first bird, is the easiest to catch. He is located in the Power Plant (See Map). Articuno is located in the caves of Seafoam Island in the 4th Basement. Articuno was much harder to catch than Zapdos. Finally Moltres is located on Victory Road and is also very hard to catch.
