When this page first started, it featured a message board on which visitors could share their opinions about Saionji. Well, the message board is gone now (replaced by a Guest Book), but some of the comments left on it were so cool that I decided to share them with everyone who visits this site. So, for your entertainment, here are some other opinions about our beloved Saionji:

Thursday, March 23rd, 2000: I love Saionji! I'm so glad someone decided to put up a shrine for my green-haired beauty. I agree with most of the ideas set forth on this page. The only thing I have a small problem with is Wakaba's hooking up with him. I do believe if he could get past certain issues they would make a good couple, but what about her poor Onion Prince? Well, glad to have a new shrine up.

Sunday, March 26th, 2000: I agree! Saionji is the reason I began watching Utena (my friend couldn't stop gushing about him). He is a very complex character, and this site treats him respectably in analyzing him. I think he and Wakaba would make a very good couple, if he can overcome some of his problems. As for Wakaba's Onion Prince, I don't think she'd end up with him, because of how she views their past relationship, and how she feels about Saionji now. Wakaba is the breath of fresh air that Saionji needs.

Saionji finally gets some respect . . .
Monday, March 27th, 2000: I have always (like everyone else here) found Saionji to be the most wonderful character in Utena. He fights his own complexes, fears, and anger to try to become a better person. Touga burned his diary, and he used to have all the shrines! Argh. I think Saionji, in being the tragic hero that he is, can show us all something about ourselves. He has shown me something eternal.

Would it scare you if I WAS Saionji?
Monday, April 10th, 2000: I'm not kidding, I actually roleplay Saionji at an Utena forum. (I play Akio too, but that's a completely different matter.) And yes, I'm a girl and no, it doesn't matter.

Personally, I love being him. Like pretty much everyone else who's posted here, I see him as someone who's endlessly manipulated by the Ends of the World and the whole duel process in general. It's only when he can get away from all that he acts human. Some of the stuff we're doing right now is really bringing that home. ^_~ One of the stories we're doing right now is Ohtori's 30th reunion...guess who got hitched. Yup, Kyouichi and Wakaba. (You can't be a Saionji fan and NOT know that Kyouichi is his first name) Though I look forward to playing the insane, deranged Saionji, it's nice playing him...well, nice for a change. ^^; (I get a kick out of playing sadistic characters...thus, Akio. Hey, -I- am the Akio no miko, trust me on that)

Anyway, if y'all were interesting, check out the forum at Delphi! http://www.delphi.com/revoltionutena I would love to get some more discussions started up about the show in general. And hey, the entertainment of reading our little role plays/fan fics are fun too. ^^ (Yeah, yeah, shameless plug. I know, I know, humor me.)
