I understand you have come to visit me to find out who I am. That is nice of you, it is always so nice to meet new people.
I am, as you might see, a woman. I was born here in Stockholm, Sweden, on midsummers eve 1970. My path has been rather long, so far. I have done different things in my life. Today I work as a free-lance translator of books from English to Swedish. Those are not the only languages I speak though. French and German I speak rather well. Comunicating with others is something I enjoy very much. To find out their interests and pleasures and to share mine with them.
My idea of a fantastic day is to spend it with a friend and explore the area around me. We go for excursions and see historical sights or try to find things around that can tell us if there might have lived people here before. History, that is my main fascination. I simply just love reading historical biographies and legends.
I must tell you I read a lot. In my library there are around a thousand volumes. You will find most kinds of books there, but not all that many thrillers. I do not like scary things. The day you will find me at a scary movie is the day I am trying to get myself a heart-attack or am trying to get some man to feel protective towards me. If you want a "bok-tips" try this In my point of view, there is no meaning in paying money to be scared.
I live in an apartement just outside the center of Stockholm. My area is full of all those things I like to see. Every day I take a walk somewhere and look at something. Since I work from home, this is very important to me. Sometimes I take my car and go driving as well, I like driving. The speed gives me a feeling of freedom. Some day I will learn to fly, that must be the ultimate experience, I think.
My family is very important to me. Mother and Father are divorced since many years, but they have both new partners that now enables me and my brother to have the richness of two familys. If you want to see them, move on to the family-page. I grew up in an area with many children at a similar age. Today many of my best friends go all the way back to the early school years. I will be eternally grateful for meeting these girls that are my best friends today. They mean a lot to me.
What more do I then do, but see my friends and visit places?
Well, I play a lot with my computer. I tought myself HTML in order to be able to show you this. I really do enjoy to explore the world of Freddy, my computer. He is a great companion on a cold winter night. We have lots of fun together.
Chatting is fun too. And ICQ, a straight communication software. My world has been made wider by this media. All of a sudden I am able to comunicate with people all over the world by a simple click, and for the cost of a local call. If you have not got ICQ, I suggest you go get it.
