REMEMBERING JAY

Jay, your motorcycles were the love of your life. The freedom you felt while riding them were moments you truly enjoyed. This was your first motorcycle you owned, but not your last. Riding came so naturally to you, but then it should of as I learned after your death, how your biological father has a real love for motorcycles too. I know, that the two of you would be riding Harley's together today if you were alive.

I was listening to KHAK, a local radio station, one morning and I heared "Bear" speak about you and the motorcycle awareness rides. He mentioned how "you turned your motorcycle in that day of May 20, 1994 for your angel wings." As I thought about that statement, it gave me a lot of peace. I could almost see you using those wings to fly, and how that would give you so much of that same free spirit feeling that you loved so well. Thinking of you Jay. Love always, Mom

I remember everything about those 19 years of Jay's life. He held a ball in his hand before he could walk. I remember when he use to call his Uncle Ed, Uncle Egg. He loved the outdoors and the animals. He would watch a ground squirrel for hours.

Camping at Morgan Creek was a favorite, because he knew his cousins Todd, Scott, Kris, Dallas, Brian, Aaron and Mike would be there. Playing in the creek, getting soaked, and, of course, seeing which one of them could collect the most dirt on their clothes so us mothers would have something to scream about.

So many memories we all have of you Jay, I really cherish that, as I wonder everyday where would we be without them? If anyone has a favorite memory of Jay please share it with us all in the Guest Book. Thank you.
