Our Vacation

April 4th to April 11th was our much needed vacation.
Because of limited vacation funds, we weren't able to do everything we wanted,
but we still had a very nice time. We went to a small amusement park in Oregon,
Enchanted Forest.

Well, Josie wasn't that interested in resting.
After all, she had been carried almost the whole time.
We all had a very fun day at Enchanted Forest.
Jolissa was especially impressed with the Seven Dwarfs House.
Inside is an animated figure of Snow White and a bunch of little animals,
cleaning up the Dwarfs house.
She stood there for the longest time, absolutely fascinated with what she saw.
She also liked going down the big Old Woman in the Shoe slide, that's about 40 feet long. (with Daddy, of course)
Corrina wasn't too sure about getting in that Witches mouth.
She finally agreed to go in if she was carried. She had fun once she was
inside, and she really liked the fact that you went down a slide on the way out.
She had the most fun in the Alice in Wonderland part of the park.
Marcalie got to ride the Bobsled Rollercoster with Larry,
that was her favorite part.
She also really enjoyed the big Sleeping Beauty castle at the start of the park.
After we went to Enchanted Forest, we drove down to
Springfield and spent some time with Heather's family. Then we went up to
Washington to see Larry's brother, sister-in-law, and nephews. Micah and
Jeremy's 4th birthday was near the time we were there, so we went to a pizza parlor
and had a little birthday party for them.
