HOW SALTY IS YOUR CHURCH in its concern for the religious and political state of our society in this country that belongs to Christ? IS THERE PREACHING about how our Lord views what is happening to the traditional family? IS THERE GODLY REACTION against the anti-Christian values children are learning in school today?
DO YOU CARE that the Humanist State has detached what God has joined together? The State has separated education, welfare and caring from the responsibility of the individual and the Christian church. It has forced us to fund its projects - compulsory state-controlled schooling, tolerance of sin (abortion), multiculturalism, non-discrimination, and provision for the aged, the sick and the unemployed.
"Caesar" has usurped God's role in the control of people's lives, and this has contributed greatly to our becoming more aimless, apathetic, selfish and discontented, with increasing tendency to racial hatred, and class and cultural conflict, which in turn has led to hatred, violence, pornography, adultery, divorce, gang rape, prostitution, and homosexuality (the ultimate in detachment, separating sex from reproduction and men from family responsibilities).
YOUR CHILDREN probably are learning to identify with all these themes, as well as discontent, depression, low goals, disrespect, lack of motivation for the virtuous and the honourable, death, cannibalism, the right to be promiscuous, to use drugs, and to suicide. These are the topics that run through the 'approved' classroom textbooks, set reading library books and 'group discussion' materials.
YOUR TAX MONEY is paying to indoctrinate children with ideas of alienation from family, anti-patriotism, and psychopathic hedonism (an insane anti-social dimension of pleasure as the only proper goal of moral endeavour.) Meanwhile, any ideas of motherhood and fatherhood as occupations are systematically weeded out of texts by the very groups which scream the loudest against censorship.
HUMANISTIC EDUCATION is alienating our children from both their family and their country by causing them to want to be independent ("detached" and "unloving"). Modern cities provide anonymity and easy separation from the family. The ensuing distancing often ends in crime, sex, drugs, suicide or death. Love, on the other hand, increases loyalty, unity and cohesion and makes for abundant life. God added the promise of long life to only ONE commandment - "Honour your parents."
The family requires attachment and devotion in its relationships, and so does God, Queen and country. However, I have yet to see where anything like "true attachment and love" is taught in schools - not even in Human Relationships programmes. Rather, the Christian family has become despised by educationists as the basis of our culture, and many who have 'gone through the system' now delight to ridicule God's requirements, and those like myself who promote His absolutes.
