A Shrunken
Head Auctioned
by Christie's!
Yes, folks, that's right. Even the
respectable Christie's has sold a shrunken head, thereby
proving the infinite appeal and fascination which these these little fellows
possess. Wouldn't
this head look wonderful on your desk or coffee-table? Can't you just
imagine the excitement
at your house if you found this amazing tsantsa under the Christmas Tree?
Or hanging on the
Christmas Tree? It would be a holiday surprise like no other, something the
family would never
forget! Christie's
auctioned the head to its
lucky winner on September 21'st, 1981. It subsequently
came into the possession
of a
company called Arte
Primitivo, who sold it on
November 19'th,
1997. The
picture copied
below, along with the caption, appeared in the
online catalogue of Arte
Primitivo.
