leather whips, rusty chains,
first a lil pleasure then a lil pain,
candle wax and melted Ice cubes,
shooting weed smoke thru blow-tubes,
whip cream and motion lotion,
makin waves like we in the ocean,
cummin hard in each other's mouths,
a sure sign our love has gone south...
Lazy
Sometimes, Im a lazy lover
9 out of 10 times I am proactive
Doing whatever possible to make my own personal star
Collapse on herself
But on time #10 I get lazy
And sit in my La-Z-Boy
Taking a nap on the sunniest of Sundays
Just wearing boxers as I half-read the paper
And Half listening to the Bulls lose another game
Slowly drifiting in and out of consciousness
I feel myself aroused by hands
And a voice not my own
I feel the heat of my star trying
To consume me, but I do not resist
I embrace my mini-apocalypse like a Bhuddist Monk,
Powerfully concentrated in my meditation
Until said meditation is fulfilled
And my star implodes once again
HATE
Have u ever noticed, the more we need love, the more HATE seems to be prevalent
And the amount of haters grow by the day
And the things they HATE on multiplies like so many roaches
Niggas will HATE on u for a good reason
Niggas will HATE for no reason
Niggas will HATE cuz u a balla
Niggas will HATE cuz u a bum
Niggas will HATE cuz u white
Niggas will HATE cuz u gay
Niggas will HATE cuz u have an overbite
Niggas will HATE cuz u r an independent woman
Niggas will HATE cuz u still at home wit yo momma
Niggas will HATE cuz u dont take they bullshit
Niggas will HATE cuz u a coward
Niggas will HATE cuz u dont like them cuz THEY pulled some shady shit on u, aint that wild?
Oh yeah, Niggas HATE hypocrites too
Niggas also HATE people who HATE
Niggas HATE cuz u get pussy, or dick, as the case may be, and they dont
Niggas will HATE if u dont get it and they do
This list could go on forever cuz like I said, Niggas will find any reason to HATE... and its the easy thing to do...
But if we can find all those reasons to HATE, I'm sure we can find at least one reason to LOVE.
Iceberg (people seem to like this one)
They say that beauty is only skin deep
With you its just the tip of the iceberg
And just like when said iceberg is taken from a glacier
And changed into its purest form as spring water
Such beauty is not obtained easily
The process is so painstaking that only the most
Patient can expect to capture a drop, much less

A Paragraph on Black Women
Who understands what a black man goes thru more than a black woman? I cant think of no one. She sees her brothers and her uncles and her father go thru the same thing u do, and she handles it like your mother would. She loves more completely than any other woman, yet we as men kinda take it for granted, She has our babies and we give her no more respect than we give a dog who has puppies... She makes our Kool-aid ghetto sweet and our greens wit that lil bit of extra pork we know we shouldn't have, but she says its ok so we eat it n smile, She does twice the work we do, but she smiles twice as much, as long as her black man is happy, She is our everything, yet we don't think and treat her as nothing, Our black woman feels pain too, but we cant or wont see it cuz our eyez aren't open, but then maybe its not a matter of our eyez, but our hearts that need to open. And sometimes, I found this out, a black women just needs to talk, and sometimes she just needs u to hold her n let her cry, to my amazement, she doesn't always want dick, or sex.... just a sign u still love her like u did the day u proposed, or made her your earth. I know I'm rambling a lil bit, but thas just how I feel, and if a black queen passes by my square on tha chessboard again, best believe imma do my best to capture her....
