Yo Hempsters! So I'm
sitting here in my One World,
listening to Led Zeppelin
1, and reading a Bay Guardian from a few weeks ago..which just
happened to have a cover
story about, you guessed it, HEMP! So I hope that everyone read that
(including Brownie Mary's recipe for hemp spaghetti) and that hemp front-page
story of a mid-August SF Chronicle. Did you make it to Hemptown USA
on August 23rd on Chrissy Field? Good music, good theme, & GOOD
rice-crispy treats!! A big thanks to the Cannabis Action Network
for doing this event & getting the word-out (even if they did pick
the one of the hardest places in the city to get a bowl lit) and here's
hoping for more
rallies!! (And Opiate Void
playing at them!!)
So, what do I have for way of super-secret recipes this issue? Nothing shocking as a gin & chronic, but a tasty treat nonetheless. Just a reminder how butterjuana (or ghee) can be used in various everyday meals to perk-up your taste-buds & outlook.
Someone gave me a recipe
for stir-fry bud. I haven't had a chance to try this one personally,
but the recipe seems sound. If any of you try this out, let me know
how it goes & please write to me (at the Opiate Void address) or email
me at Shen's address so I can add your experience to future issues &
books.
The author was not
listed, so thank you whomever I may be quoting!!
SO...Stir-Fry Bud...
You Need:
Tips:
Use real butter, not vegetable
oils or substitutes because THC is FAT SOLUBLE & is less effective
in bonding with substitutes. If you're cooking this with friends,
take turns standing over the skillet stirring the veggies & seasonings.
So thank you mystery chef for that great recipe. This is just another example of the many foods that can be turned from normal to "secret recipe" by using butterjuana instead of regular butter.
Join me next issue
as I try & get Kai to donate another of her delish dishes (& a
sample for me to try) and we talk about "using all of the buffalo". Until
then, stay alert & stay stoned!
