Adonis
When Adonis was born, Aphrodite loved him even then. Aphrodite took Adonis to Persephone so she could take care of him. When it was time to take Adonis back, Persephone would not give him back. They had a big argument which Zeus himself had to settle it. Adonis would be with person for half a year.
It was Aphrodite's turn to have Adonis. Adonis went hunting with his dogs. There he saw a wild boar. He threw his spear at the boar and it was not dead but wild with pain. The boar rushed at Adonis and wounded him. Adonis let out a loud roar. Aphrodite went on her winged chariot and found him. He was all bloody and almost dead. Aphrodite kissed him and sang him a song. But where Adonis's bloodstained the earth, a crimson flower sprang up and bloomed.
