My System

As soon as I get pictures of my beginner system scanned. I am going to put them here. My system is pretty basic, however everything has been upgraded. I use to have a old Pioneer tape deck. It came with the car when I got it, but that had to go. I replaced it with a Clarion DRX6375. My front speaker were the next, I bought a pair of Pioneer 4" coaxials. They sounded so clean in the store and I loved the way the tweets played. I left the rear fill stock for a while and worked on my bass. I am a bass head by nature and the best subwoofers that I have ever heard are JL Audio's. So two summers ago, I purchased a JL 10W0. To power the woofer, I bought a Rockford Fostgate Punch 55.2. All the wiring and interconnects are RF. Then this past summer I bought a new set of Cerwin Vega 4" coaxials for my front stage and the Pioneer's went to the rear fill, and that is my system as a whole. Oh I almost forgot, I also got an old clarion 6 disc CD-changer from my friend when I got my head unit so that about wraps it up. I plan to get a few pics of my head unit, the front stage and rear fill, and the sub enclosure and amp rack. I don't know when I will, but I hope to do it soon. I also plan on making my very own system diagram, using the pictures I take, it should be pretty cool. Just wait and see.

I haven't done much to this page in a while and my system has changed a little. To replace my old full range coaxials, I just purchase some Kicker Impulse I-402's and I-400's. For those of you that don't know which speakers these are, they are the 4" coaxials from Kicker, the I-402's are made for cars with the small factory openings in the front dash, which I have, so I just plopped them in this past weekend. Click on this link to check out a pic of the I-402's. The I-400's are just the regular old 4" coaxials, but I am having a problem installing them. The tweeter height on the 400 is rather large, which makes it impossible to install in the factory location, so I am doing a little brainstorming on how to remedy the situation. More to come on this issue soon. Everything else is the same as before. I finally got some pictures of the system taken and developed, however getting them scanned and added to the page should not take any time at all. HEHE!! Yeah, right! I will also be updating the system diagram shortly to include the new Kicker components. Try back soon to see updates.

Ok, so to recap, we have......

Source Unit: Clarion DRX6375

Front Stage: Kicker Impulse - I-402

Rear Fill: Kicker Impulse - I-400, Not Installed Yet!!

Subs: JL Audio 10W0

Sub Amp: Rockford Fosgate 55.2

Well, I'll admit it, I'm damn lazy and I haven't been putting off any effort at all in upkeeping this page, but that is about to change. I finally took some time and scanned in a few pics of my car. Take a look at the thumbnails below and click on the one you want to see full size. Enjoy!!

Again some more changes....I have recently traded in the LeMans for a 2001 Nissan Maxima SE. For more more info on my new ride click here.

I removed almost all of the components from the LeMans and I will be putting them in my dad's 1978 MGB. He and I have been working on trying to restore the car and he needs to do something for a radio, since the car didn't come with one. We are going to take the headunit, CD changer, coaxials, amp and subwoofer and integrate them into the car. Should be pretty cool. I'll post some pics and revamp this page soon.
