LOVE LETTER FROM HEAVEN~
Dearest
Mom,
I know that
for you today, my birthday is so hard
I see you
sitting quietly and writing out my birthday card.
I watch you
place the flowers next to my picture
Feel the love
that is sent, as the candle you light begins to flicker.
I want so much
to give to you today, a gift from me to you
Just a little
something to help you through.
I would like
to share my birthday with you, the way it is today
Maybe it will
help to take some of the sadness away.
I walk in fields
of gold, with angels by my side
Delight in
gardens so glorious, no way to describe.
Breezes filled
with fragrance rare
Butterflies
and rainbows are everywhere.
I dance in
the sunlight, and bask in the glow
Of unending
love wherever I go.
I soar with
the angels, rest upon the clouds
Sing and laugh
with complete abandon, even out loud.
I rest next
to the babbling brooks, watch the roses climb
Have talks
with Jesus, and other friends of mine.
Always remembering
my loved ones on earth
I could never
forget the day of my earthly birth.
Brush away
your tears Mom, set the sadness free
For I am having
a wonderful birthday, don’t you see?
Though it
is different than the ones spent before
Birthdays
in Heaven are forever more.
Thank you for
sending your gifts of love and emotion
Your heartfelt
thoughts, your undying devotion
So back to
you I send, an angel to dry your tears
Thank you
Mom and Dad, for all the wonderful years.
