Hello from the Pack Committee! Who are we? Well, we are you. We are all of the Den Leaders of Pack 34 and then some. The Official Pack Committee is made up of the Cubmaster, Asst. Cubmasters, all the Den Leaders and the Pack Treasurer. Also, the various Event Committee Chairpeople join us when appropriate. We meet about once per month to plan and guide the program for the Pack.

Last year was an exciting year for Pack 34. Did you know Pack 34 is now the largest Cub Scout Pack in the Trails West Council? We grew to over 100 boys! Did you know we are considered to be the Pacesetter for Cub Scouting in the Council? They point to us as "doing it right"!

I sure think we had an exciting and fun filled program in 2001 / 2002! I'm glad the Council has recognized our program. However, we don't do it for the Council, we do it for the BOYS! I would like us to be able to continue the same quality program in 2002/2003.

However, we need your help! We can't do it without YOU.

Now is the time of the year we must have volunteers to fill the open Den Leadership positions and to Chair the various Event Committees! Without new volunteers we cannot continue to put on the quality program you experienced this past year.

So, please step forward and volunteer. It will be fun and rewarding. Don't worry about not having any experience. We can tell you what you need to know. So contact Bill Nahlik, Roger Slaby or myself right away! Now is when we assemble the plan for this Fall.
