Message To
None Messianic Israelites
By Josiah (Zebulon) Israel

This Page
Sunday June 28, 2004 a dialogue
was held between Messianic Hebrews and the Non-Messianic Hebrews from "the
Law Keeper's". Here's a "brief" breakdown of the message that Yah allowed
me to deliver. The dialogue was a result of a comment I posted on the LawKeepers
message board.
Which stated that: "had it not been for the work that Yahshua came to do
then NONE of us now would have no knowledge of our heritage nor of Yah".
Because this comment was met with
criticism on the board, we set up a dialogue which some called a debate. For me,
it was doing what Yah called me to do and expound Yahshua to our kinsmen
according to the flesh that reject him. Here's a "brief" breakdown of
the message that Yah allowed me to deliver.
I opened up with Deuteronomy 18:15-18
15 Yahweh
thy Elohim will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy
brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
16 According to all that thou desiredst of Yahweh thy Elohim in Horeb in the day
of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Yahweh my
Elohim, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
17 And Yahweh said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and
will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall
command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words
which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
Now in reading this passage you
will notice that it speaks in the singular, "will raise up unto thee
(you) A Prophet, . unto HIM ye shall hearken;"
To say, Yah shall raise up
prophets obviously conveys a different thought. The verse also states that
"from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, LIKE UNTO ME;
You see, there is not an idle
word in this passage. This prophet that Yah shall raise up shall be like unto
Moses. I preceded to show how Moses differs from other prophets. Before we go
there also note that one of the reasons why this prophet needed to be sent was
because Yah reminded them as we read in Deuteronomy 18:16 that Israel asked for,
and required an INTERCESSOR.
16 According to all that thou desiredst of Yahweh thy Elohim in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die
not.
Numbers 12:1-8 1 And Miriam and
Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married:
for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
2 And they said, Hath YAHWEH indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken
also by us? And YAHWEH heard it.
3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face
of the earth.)
4 And YAHWEH spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come
out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
5 And YAHWEH came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the
tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I YAHWEH will
make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
8
With him will I speak mouth to
mouth,
even apparently, and not in dark
speeches; and the similitude of YAHWEH shall he behold: wherefore then were ye
not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
9 And the anger of YAHWEH was kindled against them; and he departed.
"If there be a prophet among
you".. Yah said he will appear unto him in either a vision or a dream. With
Moses,
he will speak mouth to mouth and he will behold the similitude of Yah.
For the prophecied prophet to be the one of Deuteronomy 18, he will have to also
speak mouth to mouth with Yah and behold his similitude. ALSO. notice that Aaron
and Miriam was punished and could have been cut off. WHY? Because they felt they, knew,
and followed Torah JUST as you, our so-called "Torah-only"
brothers feel, but yet they rose up against the ONE that Yah sent.
The ONE that
was able to make intercession for them, Israel, regardless of ALL the Torah you
claim to keep, DON'T GET CUT OFF because you reject the one whom Yah sent.
Moses clearly told you that whosoever will NOT hearken unto my words which HE
(NOT THEY) shall speak in MY NAME, I will require of him.
Moses was a ruler. He was also a
savior!
Hosea 12:13 And by a prophet
YAHWEH brought Israel out of Egypt,
and by a prophet was he preserved.
One of the points the "LawKeepers"
like to make is, how Yah stands alone. Only HE does this and HE does that. HOW
Yah does it, is the question that they need answered.
Genesis 1:26 Yah said let
US make man in OUR image. So Yah had assistance when WE were created? Imagine
that! Yah delivered/saved Israel out of Egypt but it was through a prophet. Did
we really need Hosea to tell us this? The point is, he did, and though Hosea was
not a prophet "like unto Moses", he WAS a prophet of Yah.
Isaiah 11:1-11 1 And there shall
come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his
roots:
2 And the spirit of YAHWEH shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and
understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of
the fear of YAHWEH;
3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of YAHWEH: and he shall
not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his
ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for
the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth,
and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the
girdle of his reins.
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with
the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little
child shall lead them.
7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together:
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child
shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall
be full of the knowledge of YAHWEH, as the waters cover the sea.
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an
ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be
glorious.
What's the deal with the one
known as "the BRANCH".
Isaiah prophecied concerning Yah raising up
"The Branch" which comes from the "stem of Jesse." Yahweh's
spirit shall rest upon him and he shall be a JUDGE. He will also be a warrior
smiting the earth.
I dare ANY Israelite to show me
documentation of their lineage which goes back to Jesse. For this Branch to
appear, we have to KNOW that this "stem of Jesse" exist
already, and his lineage IS already documented to have come from Jesse.
Jeremiah 23:1-8 Woe be unto the
pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith YAHWEH.
2 Therefore thus saith YAHWEH Elohim of Israel against the pastors that feed my
people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited
them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith YAHWEH.
3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have
driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be
fruitful and increase.
4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall
fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith YAHWEH.
5 Behold, the days come, saith YAHWEH, that I will raise unto David a righteous
Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and
justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is
his name whereby he shall be called, YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
7 Therefore,
behold, the days come, saith
YAHWEH, that they shall no more say, YAHWEH liveth, which brought up the
children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8 But, YAHWEH liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of
Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven
them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
"LawKeepers" and none
messianics in general, your lack
of understanding the scripures makes you guilty of scattering the
pasture of Yah! Jeremiah gives another witness concerning Yah raising up UNTO
David a righteous Branch. As you can CLEARLY see, David is NOT that branch. The
Branch IS a son of David. This Branch shall reign and shall be called YAHWEH OUR
RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Jeremiah 33;14-21, 26 14 Behold,
the days come, saith YAHWEH, that I will perform that good thing which I have
promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to
grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and
this is the name wherewith she shall be called, YAHWEH our righteousness.
17 For thus saith YAHWEH; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of
the house of Israel;
18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt
offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
19 And the word of YAHWEH came unto Jeremiah, saying,
20 Thus saith YAHWEH; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of
the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not
have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my
ministers.
26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will
not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
Notice verse 21 where it says the covenant with David, that he should not have a son to reign on his
throne, can't be broken. The BRANCH is David's son. When Jeremiah received this
prophecy, Zedekiah, the last King of Judah, had already been pretty much out the
box, and none of David's seed have sat on the throne since. So the prophecy
concerning one who is to rule Israel could only apply to ONE!
Zechariah 3:1-10 1 And he shewed
me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of YAHWEH, and Satan
standing at his right hand to resist him.
2 And YAHWEH said unto Satan, YAHWEH rebuke thee, O Satan; even the YAH that
hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away
the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine
iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
5 And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre
upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of YAHWEH stood by.
6 And the angel of YAHWEH protested unto Joshua, saying,
7 Thus saith YAHWEH of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt
keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my
courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before
thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I
will bring forth my servant
the BRANCH.
9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be
seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith YAHWEH of hosts,
and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
10 In that day, saith YAHWEH of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour
under the vine and under the fig tree.
Yahshua (Joshua) in this chapter is a
priest of the tribe of Levi during the time when the Israelites returned from
Babylon and rebuilt the temple.
There is a doctrine among some
(maybe all, not sure) of the LawKeepers that states that there were NO
Israelites that returned to Judah after they were takened into the Babylonian
captivity. They believe this only to prove that Yahshua HaMashiak can't be the
prophecied Messiah. This doctrine is Satanic of the highest degree. The books of
Kings, Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, Haggai, Zechariah, among others
would ALL be considered FALSE BOOKS because each account for the return of the
Israelites dispersed in Babylon.
Zechariah 6: 9 And the word of
YAHWEH came unto me, saying,
10 Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah,
which are come from Babylon,
and come thou the same day, and go into the house
of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;
11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of
Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh YAHWEH of hosts, saying,
Behold the
man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he
shall build the temple of YAHWEH:
13 Even he shall build the temple of YAHWEH; and he shall bear the glory, and
shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne:
and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
Again, here in Zechariah 6,
Yahshua the priest receives the prophecy of the BRANCH who shall rule on the
throne AND be a priest. HOLD UP!!!!!! The BRANCH, as we clearly read comes from
Jesse/David of the tribe of Judah AND he will be a PRIEST TOO?????!!!! WOW.....I
thought this was a Christian/New Testament concept!!!!!
Micah 5:1 Now gather thyself in
troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite
the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of
Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in
Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath
brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children
of Israel.
4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of YAHWEH, in the majesty of the
name of YAHWEH his Elohim; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto
the ends of the earth.
Who have we already read that
"is to be ruler in Israel?"
The BRANCH is who.
The teacher that
represented the LawKeepers in the discussion, stated that this one who is to be ruler in Israel
"whose goings forth have been of old, from EVERLASTING" was King
Hezekiah. Hmmmm... (???????)
Wasn't Hezekiah king of Judah? When was he "to
be ruler?" concerning his going forths being from., FORGET ABOUT IT. NEXT!!!!
Before the real one who was to be king became king, he had to
give Israel UP! So the ANOINTED BRANCH DID exist BEFORE he became ruler in
Israel. Israel was given up, put into captivity and is in TRAVAIL.
Daniel 9:24-27 24 Seventy weeks
are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the
transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for
iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision
and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment
to restore and to build Jerusalem unto
the Messiah the Prince shall be seven
weeks, and threescore and two weeks:
the street shall be built again, and the
wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for
himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and
the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of
the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of
the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the
overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
I didn't get into a big breakdown
here, but we read here how Messiah shall be cut off but not for himself, and
then desolations would befall Israel. "and that determined shall be poured
upon the desolate.
In the 2nd verse, we know that Daniel was reading the
writings of Jeremiah, so it is in Jeremiah 15 where we can read what the
desolations are.
Isaiah 53: 1 Who hath believed
our report? and to whom is the arm of YAHWEH revealed?
2 For
he
shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry
ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when
we
shall see him, there is no
beauty that
we
should desire him.
3
He
is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with
grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him;
he
was despised, and
we
esteemed
him
not.
4 Surely
he
hath borne
our
griefs, and carried
our
sorrows: yet
we did esteem
him
stricken, smitten of Elohim, and afflicted.
5 But
he
was wounded for our transgressions,
he
was bruised for
our
iniquities:
the chastisement of
our
peace was upon
him; and with his stripes
we
are healed.
6 All
we
like sheep have gone astray;
we
have turned every one to
his
own way;
and YAHWEH hath laid on
him
the
iniquity
of us all.
7
He
was oppressed, and
he
was afflicted, yet
he
opened not
his
mouth:
he
is
brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb,
so
he
openeth not his mouth.
8
He
was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? for
he
was cut off out of the land of the living: for the
transgression of my people was
he
stricken.
9 And
he
made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because
he
had done no violence, neither was any deceit in
his
mouth.
10 Yet it pleased YAHWEH to bruise
him;
he
hath put
him
to grief: when thou
shalt make
his
soul an offering for sin,
he
shall see
his
seed,
he
shall prolong
his
days, and the pleasure of YAHWEH shall prosper in his hand.
11
He
shall see of the travail of
his
soul, and shall be satisfied: by
his
knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for
he
shall bear their
iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide
him
a portion with the great, and
he
shall divide the
spoil with the strong; because
he
hath poured out
his soul unto death: and
he
was numbered with the transgressors; and
he
bare the sin of many, and made
intercession for the transgressors.
LawKeepers claim that the
suffering servant here, is Israel. This doctrine alone should have raised a red
flag to anyone that follows the doctrines of this group. The first verse lets us
know that the "arm of Yahweh" IS the suffering servant. In the
subsequent verses you read "hard to understand words" such as
"he" "we" "our."
DO I have to really explain who
the
"he" "we" and "our"
is? If so then not only is
it amazing that you got this far in this article, but you may want to sit in
front of PBS television for a few hours one weekday morning, and then get back
with me. {:o)
Psalms 110: 1 YAHWEH said unto my
Master, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 YAHWEH shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst
of thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of
holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4 YAHWEH hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the
order of Melchizedek.
5 The Master at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his
wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead
bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
David is speaking here stating
that Yahweh said to HIS / David's master, to sit on his right hand until he make
his enemies his footstool. Again, we read that not only is David's master, the
BRANCH, the one whose going forths have been of old, from everlasting, but he is
the priest after the order of Melchisidek. Again we read how he shall JUDGE the
nations.
Psalms 2: 1 Why do the heathen
rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together,
against YAHWEH, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: YAHWEH shall have them in
derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore
displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: YAHWEH hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day
have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the
uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like
a potter's vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve YAHWEH with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is
kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
The BRANCH is Yahweh's SON! He
shall reign and be given the heathen for an inheritance and the uttermost parts
of the earth for a possession. The nations are adjured to KISS THE SON, lest
they perish.
In this dialogue, I don' recall
any of the passages in Psalms being addressed by the LawKeepers, but they did
offer questions that were not presented in the previous presentation. Before
there questions session, their teacher did a presentation which presented few, if ANY
scriptures.
Based on what was presented,
everything I offered previously went in one ear then out the other. So to deal
with the ORIGINAL statement, as well as answering the questions proved to bee
VAIN.
What beast is it that can consume
meat and NOT drink milk? (Naw, that's not script, it's a question.
YAHSHUA HaMashiach IS THE BRANCH
who came and fulfilled Isaiah 53, Daniel 9, and other prophecies not mentioned
here. He is the ONE that was to be ruler in Israel, born in Bethlehem, of the
seed of David, who had to give Israel up.
ONLY by understanding these
prophecies can you understand the Gospels (known as the New Testament) Do NOT
reject Yah's anointed. Learn of HIM! When Yahshua came, Israel was subjected to
the Roman empire, Edomite governors, and teachers/leaders, who dealt with Torah
falsely (Matthew 15), and created civil laws which were contrary to Yah.
One of these civil laws was that
unlawful for Israelites to come unto one of another nation. (Acts 10:28) This
law was a direct violation of Yahweh's covenant with Israel which required
us to be a nation of priest. (Exodus 19:5-6) Yahshua taught the elect,
Torah without
the vain traditions. He commanded them to teach ALL NATIONS (Matthew 28:19)
The apostles did that and
converted MANY people of all nations BASED on Yahshua's mission. When ISRAEL
went into the LAST captivity out of Judah/Israel in 70 AD, Israelites were of NO
consequence to the Roman empire. (Ephesians 2, Colossians 2, Romans 9-11
chapters) Who WAS a consequence was the MANY converts who DIED for the truth!
They were fed to lions, hung up on crosses,
In around 317 AD, Emperor
Constantine, in his attempt to put a stop to the killings and to bring the
empire together, created a new religion, using elements of the truth but with
PAGAN trappings and called it CHRISTIANITY! THIS is where Jesus (Iezeus), Sunday
worship, Easter, Christmas, and trinity worship comes from.
The fact is though, that had not
Israel, through Yahshua's mission, been a light to the Gentiles, causing MANY
converts to DIE for the truth, then, we would not have the TRUTH, preserved for
us IN OUR captivity TODAY! The written word that we have available to us today
is a DIRECT result of who Yahshua is, and what he came to do. My case is rested.
Grace & peace
