+ The band known as Starts with Silence started as part of a fun "Lets play something" kind of band.  It originally started with The Minorities who consisted of Jason, Kevin and our Friend Ameya.  Around their Junior Year of high school they realized that Ameya wasn't what they wanted.   After letting him go from the band, they found themselves jamming with guitarist Derreck Asante and bassist Jeff.  From there they formed the Minorities...After Derreck made his move out to Michigan for a long awaited College calling, it left Jeff, Jason, and Kevin out in the cold.  Senior year came around for Kevin and Jason.  Kevin, knowing vocal sensation, Jon Moreen, he asked him to join the band.  Thats when Starts With Silence began.  Plenty of time has been spent in Kevins basement with the full crew.  Making hit after miss, the band came together and pulled off a CD self-titled.  The "college calling" came again, making Starts with Silence a self understood finish.  RIP SwS...
