A Few More Pics

Oh yes... We all know the story, Young band falls in love, make beautiful muzic to carry on their name, and live happily ever after.
Yea right!! It took alot more than that.

Brian "Head" and James "Munky were jamming long before the thought of korn ever exsisted. They met in high school. Sometime in the late eightys LAPD was formed. It consisted of Richard Morales(vocals), James Shaffer(Munky), Reginald Arvisu(Fieldy), and Dvaid Sylveria. Brian was constantly around to drink the beer and was later asked to play at the shows.

In 1989 LAPD released their first recording "Love and Peace, Dude". Then in 1991 "Whos laughing now?". Soon after that the band split.

Munky, Fieldy, Head, and David were not ready to give up so they went on the hunt for a new vocalist. In 1992 they went to a show in Bakersfield to cheak out the bands. Not really into what was there they headed to the door. Just before they got out the door Sexart hit the stage and they heard the vocals of Jonathon Davis and stoped in their tracks. They turned around and their jaws dropped. They knew at that moment this was the person they wanted.

After the show they approched Jon with an offer to join their band. Jon was hesitant.
"I wasnt going to do it. I went to a phyic and she said I would be stupid not to." (jon)
So he found himself in a garage doing an audition on a shitty stero system with a mic.
This is where I look really stupid because I remember an interview with Munky talking about Jon doing the freakout thing and how that was another one of the reasons they knew Jon was "it", I just dont remember if it was the audition of at a show. I am sorry that I cant get that straight. But I will... in time.
