Douglas County Highway 16 is a north-south road in the western part of the county. It begins at US36 several miles west of Tuscola and runs south past CH15 through Bourbon to IL133 at Chestervale, just east of that route's intersection with CH26. I've encountered a number of Amish wagons passing by, driving through Bourbon, and the friendly Amish people waved at me! There are a lot of Amish people in western Douglas County, in towns such as Bourbon and Arthur.
