rzMp3Plus vs 2000
rzMp3Plus is an addon for rzMp3.ini. It enables you to play your mp3's randomly from your harddrive OR if you have mp3's on a CD, it will
play them randomly from the CDRom with the simple use of an alias. You can now cancel the play of certain mp3's and have it select one you'd like to play.
Everyone has friends with poor taste in music.
Despite that, you may not want to play them personally but keep them to share with others. Rather than deleting the MP3's you will never listen to, the 'CrapStopper' option offers a unique solution.
RandomPlay
will never again select one of the Crap MP3's you choose to keep on your hard drive. CrapStopper will halt playback of all Crap MP3's your friends play, and play one of your own kewl tunes instead.
CrapStopper
has an optional message (lose a friend), which also forces your friend to listen to YOUR kewl tune. If THAT doesn't smarten them up, what will ?!? (Not for use with the humour impaired).
Note: "Lose a friend" mode is disabled in channel windows to prevent total chaos.

How To Set Up a Mp3 Folder For Crapstopper
1) In Windows Explorer, make a new folder and drag
all your crappy MP3's into it. This will stop RandomPlay from selecting these MP3's.
2) *** IMPORTANT: This
new folder CANNOT be a sub-folder of your current MP3 folder. c:\mp3 and c:\mp3\mp3crap will NOT work. Use seperate
folders ie: c:\mp3 and c:\mp3crap
3) Click CrapStopper Set List ie: [phil_collins]-against_all_odds ...enter
phil_collins to stop playback of all phil collins songs. Enter against_all_odds to stop playback of just that
specific song. Don't forget the u_n_d_e_r_scores.
4) Return to CrapStopper Lists to view or change your
settings. I have included a thoughtful message for use with CrapStopper 'Lose a Friend' mode. Click 'CrapStopper
Change Msg' to enter a message of your choice.
5) Click CrapStopper Setup to stop the crap.
AutoComplete and Randomplay
RandomPlay uses the alias /mp and
will randomly choose one of your kewl tunes from your Mp3 folder or Cdrom (if enabled).
AutoComplete
uses the alias /mp to play an MP3 in any mirc window.
For Example: [phil_collins]-against_all_odds
entering /mp phil will play the first song containing the word 'phil' anywhere in the title.
Entering a second part of the MP3 name narrows the search.
ie: /mp phil against will play the
first song containing BOTH those words. The entry does not have to be a complete word ie: /mp phi
agai will [probably] locate the correct song. Entries are limited to 2 words.
IMPORTANT: To use AutoComplete
with CD-Rom, the script will search to see that the CD-Rom is enabled, and a disk with mp3's are loaded.
Nick AutoComplete
Nick AutoComplete uses the alias /mpn
to play an MP3 to a specific user.
For Example: [phil_collins]-against_all_odds
entering /mpn zila phil
will play the first song containing the word 'phil' anywhere in the title. Entering a second part of the MP3 name narrows the search.
ie: /mpn zila phil against will play to that user the first song containing BOTH those words.
CD AutoComplete
Cd AutoComplete uses the alias /mpd and
will RandomPlay one of your kewl CD-Rom MP3 tunes. The script will search to make sure your cdrom option is enabled and a cd with mp3's is loaded.
Use the alias /mpd to play an MP3 from CD-Rom ONLY in any mirc window.
Example: [phil_collins]-against_all_odds
