Enix has a long list, as well, including the Dragon Warrior series, ActRaiser, RoboTrek, the StarOcean series, and Illusion of Gaia. It is not known what the fate will be of each company's current projects or what games will be released after the merger.

August 31 Retro Studios, one of Nintendo's 2nd-party companies, is focusing their development on only one game: Metroid Prime. So, all of the other games that were previously being developed by Retro Studios are cancelled, including the much-anticipated RPG Raven Blade.
August 24 The Nintendo Gamecube has been delayed by about 2 weeks, making the new release date November 18th.
October 1 Nintendo has announced the date in which the company will show off the Nintendo Dolphin for the very first time: August 2000. This probably means that Nintendo will show it off at next year's Space World expo in Japan. This also suggests that the release date would get pushed into 2001, since (as IGN64 put it) game systems usually get released about a year after their first showings. That would put it well into 2001.
Also, 3DO has announced that it is planning on developing Nintendo Dolphin games, as soon as it gets the development kits.
September 24 Matsushita has decided to release the DVD-playback version of the Dolphin system only in Japan. This special system was to be released sometime after the main system. On it, you can play DVD movies and such. But, it looks as if Japan is the only place that will get it.
Also, Nintendo is hinting that the Dolphin system will more likely be released in the year 2001, instead of next fall. This is because the games are taking longer to develop than the system is.
September 20 Retro Studios, a new 2nd-party company, making Dolphin games for Nintendo, will have five games ready to be released at the launch of the system. At least one of them is a sports game, as known already. But just announced is that one game of the five is an RPG, which is big news for RPG fans.
September 2 Game Boy Advance (Nintendo's upcoming 32-BIT hand-held system -- click here for more info) will be able to connect to the Nintendo Dolphin system, somewhat like the way Game Boy Color can connect to the N64 via the 64GB Pak. What this means for gamers has yet to be seen.
Also, Nintendo Dolphin's tentative release date is late 2000. That's right, it's next year. Seems a bit too soon doesn't it?
August 11 Turok 3 has been announced as an N64 game, and not a Dolphin game. However, Acclaim stated that it is developing tools and software for the system. This means that there still could be a Turok game on the way to Nintendo's next system.
