There is nothing a person in a wheelchair can NOT do except walk. You can live a full and HAPPY life but you have to be able to accept the fact that you will have to do it sitting down.
The ADA CAN and WILL help anyone who has a problem with getting into a business that does NOT comply with the ADA rules. You can contact the PVA or any other service for help in making businesses comply with the ADA rules.
There are a lot of fine organizations you can join that have all kinds of activities. I am a member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America just to name one.
