Series Alpha History

When Chris' Comics was around, I made a series of comics that later became known as Series Alpha. These were sold very cheeply and were the only product CC sold. It consists of 20 comics (or comic strips)and several unfinished comics. They range from the short half page Mr. Bill's to the longest The New Blue Blaster's 10 pages. This series of comics was the pre-edition of many of CC&C's upcoming comics.

  • Poof-Coof-Doof was by far the most successful and fun comic to make. It had 9 finished comics and one incomplete supercomic (issue number 10). The main character is a guy, Poof-Coof-Doof (or Smoke-and-Mirrors), who is basically a muscle-man. This fish-bowl headed hero can fly and fights through an asortment of enemies including the Magic Man, police officers, Grey Golbin, and his arch enemy Le Stupida.
  • Alien Force was also a very fun comic to produce. There were two complete comics and sections of a third. The whole series is a preliminary version of the Alien Force series we produce now. The main character, Alec Dean, works for E.D.F. (Earth's Deffense Fleet) which protects Earth from an Alien Force. This Alien Force attacks L.A., which Alec has to take back.
  • Agents was another best seller. This was probably because the main characters were the customers. I really didn't like drawing this two complete and one unfinished series because I was always worried I'd offend someone. The new Agents series is similar, but not using the same story or beccessarily same characters. In Agents, Mr. Gray was the leader (G) while Mrs. Valencord was the second in command (V).
  • The New Blue Blaster was the longest of all the completed comics. Of course, it did just have the one comic. An alien is shot down to earth, but takes his enemy with him. Unfortunatly, this enemy lives, and Blue Blaster must fight his way through much oppression and a whole lot of explosions to defeat this nemmisis once and for all.
  • C-Boy was a comic I first drew when I was very young. I manipulated it to fit a very quickly drawn comic. Not a great..anything here. It's alot like Superman.
  • Smaxx was such an interesting combination that I brought him into a Poof-Coof-Doof comic. Smaxx had only one issue of his own but also was feautured in Poof-Coof-Doof too. Smaxx is a mixture between the Image hero Maxx & DC's Superman. He is a comical oaf who I wrote a story about in third grade. Adamantium claws and super strength, Smaxx uses his powers to fight for good.
  • Mr. Bill, remember him on T.V.? Well I drew two comics with him in it, but actually he is a safety patrol officer. His best friend and worse enemy Mr. Dave always tends to kill Mr. Bill in the strangest ways. But each time Mr. Bill comes back.
  • Finally, the Preview comics. These were free one front/back page comics that were divided into the upcoming comics. I handed them out to people who were interested and it ave them a brief glimse of the comic, such as PCD. We do this still, but we just use the net instead of printing off the comics.
