CC&C Product Possibilities - Spy Series (Windows)
- 2/20/01 - "Okay. Any of you who have actually followed CC&C all the way from the beginning know about Spy Series. This was the first game EVER sold from CC&C. the first product. It had 5 short episodes and was a Q-basic word adventure. Sale price: $2. And then it happened. The crash that took out all of CC&C's data except for the site. So, at that time, I started work on Spy Series again, already having the first episode form the site. But CC&C became caught up in things like Pikachu(yes Pikachu)'s Fantasy and remoldeling of the site. And then, Maze of the Mastermind. A little later, I decided to start work again on SS. This time, it will be made for the Windows platform and have some good animations. It will still follow the 'what should you do? answer' form of game though. Same story as the original, too. But the cool thing about it is in each episode, there wil be a total of about 5 different characters. Thomas Moorley is the main character. In the QB version, you could choose your name and such, but this time, it seems a little unimportant. I'll keep you posted...when I get around to it."
- 9/18/01 - "Here's some info on Spy Series for Windows. Each episode is a seperate game unless you get the full pack (all five episodes) together or seperatly and then get the patch. Here's what the patch will do. Let's say you get Episode 1 as freeware and you like it. So you buy Episode 2 to try it. You also like this one and therefor buy the rest of the series. Well now you have say version 2.0 of Episode 1, 1.2 of Episode 2, & 1.3 of Episodes 3-5. You will get 3 seperate patches. One patch will update Episode 2 to version 2.0, another will update 3-5 to version 2.0 also. The final will combine all five episodes into one large pack. In each episode, you will choose from up to 5 characters. When you first start you will only have Thomas Moorly (the main character) to play as. After you successfully complete his storyline, you will be able to play as one of the other characters. Each character has a different story, but they often interweve, and you will find different views about each of these meetings. The characters will be as follows: Thomas Moorly, Zach something, a girl, H, & then each episode will have a final character that is basically the bonus one. It changes in each episode. Well that's enough for now."
