The pain was subsiding
but now another is arrising
I get over one, push it from my mind
But then comes another to make my teeth grind
Why is this a merry-go-round?
Answers for me cannot be found
I built a barrier of happiness
built with love and a kiss
I broke it to make a new wall
How could I not see it fall?
Then they bombed the city
Now it's dead, what a pity.
I have to rebuild from the bottom to top
maybe this time I can make it stop
before the Merry-go-round kills the people
& burns down the steeple
