with sabers for Arabic soldiers; several Masks or false
faces, a Rough and Rugged Road made of Ropes etc.;
Bridcre of Sighs, three small syringes, Dolman; Sand-
als; Fire Arms; Collapse; and any other uncouth
dress or figure to create terror or fear to the candidate.
OPENING CEREMONIES
Grand Potentate-(One blow with gavel, or scep-
tre), Chief Rabban, that no interloper or spy may in-
trude upon the ceremonies of our Mystic Shrine, it is
my command that you summon your proper officers and
receive from them our mystic pass; disperse them with
alacrity in and about our Temple, to receive the same
from all within our portals, and communicate to you,
that you may give me the assureance that no ignoble
here intrudes.
