Chessie is the king of the house and he will be the first one to tell you so. He spends most of his days outside, talking with the squirrels, walking with the raccoons and of course bringing home a friend or two to share with his family. Once again the friend is usually very alive, and we have the usual chase scene with Mommy and the broom to watch. Chessie sits back and drinks it all in and then when the excitement is over he goes back to one of his favorite sleeping places and takes a nap.
He isn't much of a lap cat so don't expect him to just sit and be petted unless it is his idea. He is a beautiful animal though and does like to be admired, from a distance of course.
His latest dilemma is how to keep his little sisters from taking over his favorite places. He has been seen lately just sleeping next to one of them instead of seeking out a place of his own. Chessie sleeps with his boy and is a Goodcat all the way.
