My name is Li Jia Ning. I am from China. I am 18 years old. Now I am studying in Singapore for the second year. I spent the past 17 years in China. Now my parents send me abroad to study, hope I can have a better future. Because even Singapore is much much smaller than my hometown, it’s more developed.

I think I am I very talkative person and it’s really me in China. I was also the member of my school debate team. Maybe because I like reading book, so I always have a lot of words to say. But since I came to Singapore, I was not talkative any more. I think it’s the problem of language. My English result in China was really not bad. But oral was really poor. When I speak English not in class but to use to communicate with other people, I always don’t have confident. Slowly, I won’t be shy when I speak English though sometimes there are some mistakes. Until one day, I have a Singaporean girl-friend and she is English speaking. My oral English become better and better.

I am very sportive, too. I like running, playing basketball and table tennis. Especially playing basketball, I always play basketball until I forget the time. My favorite basketball player is         Allen Iverson --

I am also an independent person. I live by my self, because I no need anyone’s help. so I have to do every ting by myself. Sometimes I like it, But sometimes I hate it, because it’s very tired.
