I am studying in NanYang polytechnic in Singapore now. Actually I just came to Singapore for one year. So at first I couldn’t accommodate myself to the study condition here. Because it was too relax for me. I don’t know whether you know or not. To study in china is really suffering. Since primary school, we had to go school from 7am to 5pm, and when you went into secondary school, even worse-7am to 8pm. We were very busy every day and learnt a lot of subjects. It’s true that if you want to have a good future then you cannot have an interesting childhood in China. But when I came to Singapore, school time only had 30 hours per week and sometime will cancel lessons. So sometimes I really didn’t know what to do. Hence every day slept very late, played game, surfed Internet and chatting online. But when the test finished, every thing changed. I couldn’t get good result though I understood everything. Because my English was very poor, couldn’t understand the question properly. Surely wouldn’t get the correct answer. After that I put a lot of time in English, that’s why my result improve a lot now. My school is the newest polytechnic in Singapore so far and it houses six Schools, specializing in Engineering, IT, Design, Business Management, Chemical & Life Sciences and Health Sciences, and offers a total of 21 full-time diploma courses.
