WheelerBand Position: Guitar and programming Age: 24 Background: Nick Wheeler plays guitar for the All American Rejects. He was born on March 20, 1982 and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma. This is where he later met Tyson Ritter at a party and first started the band. This twenty two year old loves music, even though he plays the guitar for the band he can also play Drums, piano, and keyboard. Some of his favorite bands are Def Leopard,Bon Jovi,and Poison. He has been through many band members in high school but he says, "It was high school. Some people just wanted to do the whole high school thing and weren't serious about the band. We eventually got rid of them." Nick didn't enjoy high school, and was eager to get out, that may be one of the reasons for his success. After high school he did attend Oklahoma State University but soon dropped out. Now a playing a major role in The All American Rejects he has about six piercing and many tattoos. He has an odd obsession with muppets and in his free time he loves reading magazines particularly "Guitar World." |
