RitterBand Position: Vocals and Bass Age: 22 Background: Tyson Ritter is the lead singer doing vocals and bass for the All American Rejects. He was born on April 24, 1984 and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma. This is where he later met Nick Wheeler at a party and first started the band. Unlike Nick, Tyson really enjoyed school and even graduated a year early to try and pursue a career, but a year later ended up with everyone else. Tyson says,"Stillwater was the perfect place for us it practically screams unexcitement." When he was younger his parents got divorced but his dad, his sister, and him remained very close. He used to be a crazy, trouble maker, and he still enjoys being silly and having fun. In his free time he likes hanging out with girls, working on cars, listening to rock and roll, fishing, and water skiing. His favorite band he saw perform live was Bad Religion. His first job was changing tires and he disliked it greatly. Most people refer to him as Ty short for Tyson, something odd about Ty is he will not drive with the radio on. He claims it distracts him from coming up with his own songs. However, AC/DC is one of his favorite bands. When he was younger he constantly listened to them. Most of the songs he writes are about his old girlfriend that broke up with him. |
