This CD is a compilation of live performances at Canton House in Canton, Massachusetts in 1987 and 1988. John Spreier produced and recorded the album using a line level direct from the mixing consule. Nick recorded the bass on Dancing in the Dark, Cover Me, ROCK in the USA, Keep Your Hands to Yourself, Dancing in the Streets, and Sugar Magnolia. He programmed the drums on Freeway of Love, Dancing in the Dark, Cover Me, ROCK in the USA, Keep Your Hands to Yourself, Dancing in the Streets, and Sugar Magnolia. He also recorded the lap steel guitar on Sugar Magnolia and played harmonica on Freeway of Love. Dean recorded the keyboards on Freeway of Love, Dancing in the Dark, Cover Me, and Dancing in the Streets. John recorded the bass & keyboards and programmed the drums on Dixie Chicken, Under the Boardwalk, and Pressure Drop. John sang the lead vocals on all of the tracks except for Sugar Magnolia where he provided the harmony. Nick Smith sang harmony vocals on all of the tracks except for Sugar Magnolia where he provided the lead vocals. Nick & John shared the lead & harmony vocals on Dancing in the Streets and played guitar on all of the tracks. Freeway of Love was written by Aretha Franklin, Narada Michael Walden, and Jeffrey Cohen. Dancing in the Dark was written by Bruce Springsteen. Cover Me was written by Bruce Springsteen. Dixie Chicken was written by Lowell George and Martin Kibbee. Under the Boardwalk was written by Artie Resnick and Kenny Young, Pressure Drop was written by Frederick "Toots" Hibbert. ROCK in the USA was written by John Mellencamp. Keep Your Hands to Yourself was written by Dan Baird, Rick Richards, Rich Price, and Mauro Magellan. Dancing in the Streets was written by William Stevenson, Ivy Jo Hunter, and Marvin Gaye. Sugar Magnolia was written by Robert Hunter and Robert Weir.
