This site is dedicated to one of the most sensational singer/songwriter in the world, Michael J Sheehy.

i fell into Michael's music since he was in a band called Dream City Film Club, which was about 5 years ago.

i always think DCFC was the most underrated band in the 90's, i will put DCFC in the same group with And Also The Trees, Bauhaus, Placebo, Subcircus, etc; only when DCFC being intense and angry... But i can't think of any music can give me the same dark, sorrowful, and beautiful when DCFC being low...

DCFC splited after 2 albums, but luckily, Michael remained in the Bagger Banquet, and he've got 3 solo albums released already. As a solo artist, Michael's work becomes more personal, depth and elegance. The sound turns to base on blues, gospel, country and traditional folk music. i would say that his music now is like a mixture of Nick Cave, Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Tom Waits.
