SKEEEEEEEEEEEEVVEEEEE-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!! BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!

BARATATATATATA-BOOOOOOOM!!

BBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

[The 1st Mariner Arena is showered in red and yellow pyros as "The Right Stuff" continues to play.]

Cito Conarri: HAPPY NEW YEARS WRESTLING FANS, AND WELCOME TO OLW LINE ONE! I'm your host, Cito Conarri, alongside Leslie Stanton on Color and Steven Styles on Technical!

Leslie Stanton: It is great to be here in the 1st Mariner Arena, Cito! I'm Leslie Stanton, and...

Steven Styles: And I ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... am "The Incomparable" Steven Styles.

Conarri: As always. Fans, we have an incredible card lined up for tonight, that's going to be topped with a match to crown the inaugural OLW Heavyweight Champion! Freddy Phoenix, the IWA legend and former CAL World Champion, takes on the youngster Daemon Curtis in what will become the climax of a bitter, heated rivalry.

Stanton: We've also got the CAL World Title on the line, and you know, I think that we should be allowed to have two main events. Because you can't be telling me that the TJ Killingbeck/Jeffy Andrews rematch deserves anything besides top billing.

Styles: I'd tell you that, but then you'd probably try to kick me in the nuts like you always do.

Conarri: Andrews won the CAL World Title as Ultra Raptor. We thought Raptor was going to be the next Timmy Fantastico, but on the same night, he was unmasked by Heidi and pinned by Killingbeck. He's bitter, angry, and wants blood, and wants his title back.

Stanton: We're also going to have the Mid Atlantic title on the line tonight... and what a tangled path OLW's undercard titles have taken. Cito, want to explain?

Conarri: It all started when Jeffy Andrews stole the Mid Atlantic Title from the champion, Charles Scott, saying that if Heidi could steal his belt, he could steal one of hers. Don't ask me to explain how he came to that, because I can't. At the same time, the match for the Chesapeake Title between Rick Ravage and Greg Stone, which was originally set for Line One, occurred two cards early, with Ravage winning the title and Stone retiring. Ravage himself, after winning the title, promptly retired.

Styles: So what about the Chesapeake Title?

Conarri: Well, Ravage had the class to hand the belt back before he left. Meanwhile, Andrews carted the Mid Atlantic Title to ringside once, and had his lackey Zeke Cassidy try to disrupt Heidi from announcing the card for Line One. Heidi won nearly instantly, and Andrews ended up running off without the MA Title.

Styles: Slick.

Conarri: So the Chesapeake Title is inactive currently while OLW rebuilds its roster, and the Mid Atlantic Title is on the line. And it’s going to be a match between Big D, Top Dollar, Sammy Powers, Python, Grimm, and the mystery man – who I’m at leisure to identify. It’s “Bullet” Brian Buchanan, of MSWA and PSW fame.

Stanton: How’d you know that?

Conarri: Because he was going to do a press conference announcing his signing, but then he no-showed it. Still, he’s gonna be here tonight.

Stanton: In other matches – we’ve got the grudge match between Adam Delicious and Danny Vicious. The long running tag team found themselves at odds over the OLW/CRW war. Vicious was from CRW, and NPW before it, and sided with them. Danny’s also been having some substance abuse problems.

Conarri: We’ve also got the debuting “Outlaw” Jesse James, taking on a member of the Red Axis. You know, the Red Axis was embroiled in a battle with Southern Comfort, and we were building up to a 3 on 3 confrontation between the two groups – but Jesse James wrecked Garrett Davidson’s knee, and Blackwell decided to heal up his neck. The third guy never even showed up on the card. Anyway, James usurped SoCo’s spot on the card, and he’ll be taking on a member of the Red Axis – who has yet to be identified.

Stanton: The Red Axis signed a peculiar contract where any member of them can accept their booked match. So… meh.

Styles: Do I get to talk?

Conarri: No. We've also got a match between Minority Uprising - that's the masked brothers, Lobo Loco and Monstruo Enmascardo, who were recently joined by Billy Killjoy, taking on the Stone & Steel Syndicate. "Jersey Devil" Troy Matthews, "The Sentinel" Alex Markham, and Joshi legend Saori Kazama. They'll be facing off in a Captain's Fall Tornado Tag match, and... the rules to that are pretty complicated, so I'll wait til it's time for that match to get into it all. Our more hardcore wrestling fans may have followed the battles these two teams had all over Japan, and even though it doesn't have particularly high billing on this card, it may be the highest drawing match as far as our overseas fans in Japan are concerned.

Stanton: Anything else?

Conarri: Lastly, we’ve got the debuting Shawn Sparks, taking on OLW’s talent enhancement type, The Black Wonder. We’ll take you to that match in a minute, but first, we’ve got something happening out in the parking lots.

[The cameras pan out to a beautiful view of the parking lot of 1st Mariner Arena. All day, OLW camera crews have been filming wrestlers and fans coming in and out of the arena. A black stretch limo has stopped in front of the 1st Mariner Arena. The limo driver walks out of the corner and walks to the back of the limo. He opens the door and out comes Impact who is wearing a custom made Armani suit. Impact has never worn the suit and has agreed to put it on just for Line One.]

Conarri: Folks, we are live outside the arena righ tnow. As we see here, Impact arrived to the 1st Mariner Arena, and Styles, I don’t think he came alone.

[The booing from the crowd can be heard in the background as they are watching this on the video screen. Impact walks to the trunk of the car and begins to grab the bags. As he is doing this, Big D comes out of the limo to a huge chorus of boos. He too is wearing an Armani suit with a pair of sunglasses.]

Styles: And there he is! The man who has vowed to capture the OLW Mid-Atlantic Title arrived just a few hours ago! How exciting!

[Some fans that are waiting to get into the arena notice that Big D and Impact have arrived. Some of the smarks begin to cheer while others begin to boo. Big D acknowledges them with a nod.]

Big D: Impact…see that? People are cheering me…people are cheering greatness. It’s good to know some of these fans still know what a true wrestling legend looks like.

[Impact, who is mute in case anyone doesn't know, nods in agreement and they begin to walk into the arena. Big D stops and acknowledges the crowd once again.]

Big D: Yeah…I like this kind of party. Tonight my friend…is going to be a glorious night. You are looking at the next OLW Mid-Atlantic Champion….brah!

The tandem make their way into the arena as a small “Big D” chant erupts amongst the fans waiting in line.

Styles: Conarri…Big D has once again guaranteed a victory tonight!
