A longer biography is in the works. Want to help? Email us! Extremely short music biography: Ronny Cary is an indie-rock singer-songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Unlike most singer-songwriters though, his heavy, guitar driven style, strongly influenced by legends like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, and Jimi Hendrix, makes him a cut above the rest. The energy that he puts into his shows draws more comparisons to The White Stripes and T.Rex than to traditional singer-songwriters. Long active in the indie-rock circuit, several songs of his have gained noteriety, such as the driving "Seeing Red", the sweet "7th Street", and the angst-filled talking blues number "Avenging Olivia". In 2007 he released his first independent solo album, Red For Ronny, and began performing in the Twin Cities area promoting it. |
