Bata-kun no Uchi - History
Kinomoto Fujita-sensei.

Bata-kun no Uchi, formally called Jazzie-kun no Uchi and Jazzie-kun's Manga and Anime Reviews the first time, is not a place where you can get fan subs, roms and such. It's just a site I put together to show my various works relating to anime, manga and other various forms of entertainment. I feel that it's one site you have to stop by every now and then and not on a daily basis, though I do make updates often when I have the time.

Bata-kun no Uchi opened on 11/28/02. (I opened on Thanksgiving Day, which was surprising. For now, I've decided to use the month-date-year format for all of my dates, but if a lot of people ask me to use the date-month-year format, then I'll do it that way.) Originally, this site was created mainly to give anime and manga fans an idea of what anime series to watch and manga series to read. Now, it's a site with various works I have done from reviews to articles. Whether you are a fan who has just started out, a fan who knows little about anime and manga or a real dedicated veteran, you are at a place suitable for yourself. In my reviews, I will give some facts that people don't know about in their favorite series (or at least, I'll try to). If you're wondering, yes, I have been a reviewer for a few other pages and I have done other tasks. I am a real busy bee indeed.

Don't be surprised if you see many elements you see in various sites here. I don't do this to poke fun at various people including the people in Japan who have art pages up. I do this because I highly respect those people. It is my way of giving my thanks to them who have not only given me fun back then and now still, but to others as well. It's mixing old times with new times if you want to put it that way.

The reviews shown here will be different from my reviews shown in other sites. Why? The good part about placing reviews on my own site is that I get more freedom. Plus, factor in the past. At the time, I didn't receive the information you see now. There's also the feeling that I wasn't thinking really hard at the time to say what I wanted to say. There are no problems here. (I have no idea what I just said there, but oh well.)

How will updates go? Usually, I will do updates every single time I don't have school. In other words, I will have short update periods every quarter. So, if I bring an update at the end of the year for example, you will not expect another update until like late March or early April. I know this is frustrating to you, the viewer. To make the long story short, I just want to do better in college now and get out of it. When I do get the opportunity to update, I'll usually update once or twice a week, but sometimes I'll update three times a week.

What else should I say? Uh, if I list a city only, it's either a city that's well-known all over the world or it's a city in California. Just to let you all know.

Early on, I wanted to do a page of only anime and manga reviews because I guess it's that I have seen few individuals make pages of anime and manga reviews. Plus, I said that one day, I would make a page of my own. Note that these reviews give out my opinion only. If you respect my opinions, I'll respect yours. As Bill Cosby once said, "You can satisfy some people all the time, but you can never satisfy every person sometimes." I know those are not the exact words he said, but you get the idea. Simple, ne? I'm not here to really act like some cocky critic. I'm here to give a point of view and that's it.

If you don't see me bring out a review of your lovable series, it will be because of the fact that I never viewed it yet. I would like to view your favorite series too or any other series for that matter, but I can only do so much. If life is like shjo series, especially like "Hime-chan no Ribon", then the scenario will be different and I will like it that way. Well, my wish won't come true. That's for sure.

Now, look at it. It has evolved into the way it is. Okay! That's it for the background information. If you want, you can look at my personal speech. Hope you enjoyed your visit.
