"SNK Playmore News"
Aside from the new photos for Chaos in terms of the secret characters, there's an energy drink that sports the game. More can be found in Gen's post. Dash no Chris's "Not a drink. Beverage!" quote easily wins the catch phrase contest. The deal behind the drink is that it's a popular brand of a vitamin-energy-BS-drink called Esukappu. This is pronounced, of course, like "S Cap" which is the abbreviation for "SNK vs. Capcom".
There's a bunch of delays as well. The SvC Chaos home cart has been pushed back from October to exactly December 11th. Metal Slug Advance will now be released in the winter time. Finally, the PS2 port of KoF 2001 PS2 is October 23rd instead of next month.

Not much can be said about Soushun - Tsutaetai Koto. There are piano pieces. There are scenes with stellar sketches. Sadly, there are no voices.

"Rainbow Region"
Djin group D-Craft has created a Kanon and Air-themed vertical shooter called Rainbow Region. You have three characters to work with: Ayu, Nayuki and Makoto. You are able to switch between the three girls at any time and they each have a unique ability. They're in a fake computer game world and they're trying to escape from it. (The link is down for the moment.)

"Verdict of Yamato"
The dispute over who owns the copyright for Uch Senkan Yamato/Space Battleship Yamato has come to an end. In the case of the ownership of Yamato between Matsumoto Leiji and Nishizaki Yoshinori, Nishizaki won his appeal that he was the author who had been involved in the entire production of the anime, while Matsumoto was only involved in its partial productions such as the character designs. However, after this decision, both sides have filed an appeals on each other, and the trial went on again. Both sides dropped their appeals, and the issue was closed with the settlement of legal proceedings.

"More Full Metal Panic - Delay"
The new Full Metal Panic series was originally scheduled to be on at Tuesday, but the air date was recently put back to the 25th. The rumor is that the show was originally 12 episodes long, but the second episode involved the kidnapping of a child, and it has been cut from the lineup because of the fact that there was a kidnapping in Japan just recently; thus also resulting in the delay in broadcast.

I heard that this will be better than what most people say. Let's just hope this is true. It's surprising that they're using actresses who are in high school and not ones that are in middle school.
