"News Metal Slug V, Samurai Spirits Zero and SNK vs Capcom: Chaos"
Metal Slug V has a page up. Two sections are up: story and characters. SNK Playmore is also looking for part-time testers. The Neo Geo Land location test has been announced. It's on the 27th.
The Samurai Spirits Zero page has more art up. Of course, a lot of fixing still needs to be done. Oh and if you don't know, it will be renamed Samurai Shodown V outside of Japan.
As for Chaos, don't know if anyone caught this yet, but it will be 6,800 yen. The release date is the 18th of December. Pre-orders are up at Play-Asia.

If you plan on going to the Tokyo Game Show and the Metal Slug V testing, you better plan on what you're going to do because they occur on the same day. I don't want to know why Samurai Spirits Zero was renamed Samurai Shodown V. As for Chaos, I don't think it's worth it.

"Tenj Tenge and Ultra Jump News Batch"
When you get the November issue of Ultra Jump on the 18th of next month, which will have Tenj on the cover, it will have more information on the Tenj anime, which will take place some time in the spring. Volume 10 of the manga will be out on the 17th of next month. To celebrate, the November issue of Ultra Jump magazine will come with a special cover for volume 10. That is, you will get an alternative jacket that you can use for volume 10. Volume 11 of the manga will be out on March 19th. There will be a special edition which will come with a figure of Natsume Aya, just as the limited edition version of volume 9 came with the Natsume Maya figure. More details are expected in the November 2003 issue of Ultra Jump magazine.
If you purchase the October, November and December issues of Ultra Jump magazine, you'll be able to apply for a special poster, B2 size. (It's 515 mm. x 728 mm. or 1 ft. and 8.3 in. x 2 ft. and 4.7 in. for those who want more information.) One of the posters has some sort of glittering effect. There are some statements about attaching coupons in the issues to the sheet in one of the issues and sending it in with 1,000 yen in postage. Applications must be in no later than December 18. It's doubtful that Shuueisha will allow people outside of Japan to enter as they will not ship posters outside of the country. Aside from Tenten, you can also get a poster of the manga Tengoku - Heaven's Prison (Paradise - Heaven's Prison) by Utatane Hiroyuki and a poster of the manga Puchimon (Petit Monster) by Nanase Aoi.
I know that Sheisha understands what those outside of Japan are feeling, though the feelings won't change their mind still. The others look good by the way. Whoo!

"Anime Series for the Fall Season - Part II"
Here's part II of the rundown.
Anime series - Date - Comments from me or what has been given
Kaleido Star - 10/4 - Appearing at 9:30 A.M. on TV Tokyo, this is the actual starting date of the series.
Tenbatsu Angel Rabbie - 12/4 - See my 8/19 entry.
Adding on, the following anime series will start some time in October: Bobo (which will be on Morning TV), Godanner (an AIC production for AT-X), Galaxy Railways (brought to you by BS Fuji), Chrno Crusade, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (which is based on a visual novel and with more info found here) and Chshjin Granseizaa (which will appear in TV Tokyo on a Saturday of next month at 9:00 in the morning). There will be a UFO Princess Walkure Season 2 some time this fall. As of now, not much is said about Chjyu Kishin Dancougar Remake and Legends.
Source(s): Anime Daisuki and Moon Phase
Kaleido Star - This is a maybe series.
Tenbatsu Angel Rabbie - With its nice designs, I'll watch this for sure.
Bobo - Looks waaay too weird for me.
Godanner - I heard that a lot of people are interested in this, but I'll only fall back on this if a good amount of the series I am watching are dropping down in quality.
Galaxy Railways - Well, it is a Matsumoto-sensei series after all. So, yeah, I'll watch it.
Chrno Crusade - Aside from one of the characters looking like Bridget of GGXX, I'll give it a shot.
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien - Not familiar with the game, but if I read about it well enough, I guess I'll give it a chance.
Chshjin Granseizaa - Can't give a comment here yet.
UFO Princess Walkure Season 2 - I heard that the first season has mixed views. So, to be safe, I won't touch this until I see the first season.
Chjyu Kishin Dancougar Remake - Heard about Dancougar, but I won't watch this yet.
Legends - Can't comment on this yet.

Saiyuki Reload - 10/2 - Time and channel: 6:30 P.M. and: TV Tokyo.
Cromartie High School - 10/3 - Each episode, being shown at 1A.M. in TV Tokyo, lasts for 15 minutes.

Source(s): Anime Daisuki and Moon Phase
Papuwa - Looks too weird. It's not a series I would see instantly.
Avenger - Highly doubtful on my list because of the many series going on in the fall, though it is Bee Train.
Read or Die TV - If several people's reactions have turned around, I might as well turn mine around too, though I don't know if I'll regret it or not.
Saiyuki Reload - Never read the manga or saw the past anime series, but because it is a questionable series in general, it's one of the last series I would see this fall.
Cromartie High School - Won't bother with it.
Sailor Moon - It better be more surprising in a good way than I thought or I will instantly stop watching it.
Planets - Looks too complex for me to watch.
Rockman - When will they make a Rockman series for people like me?
Full Metal Alchemist - What? No girls? Regardless, I heard a lot of talks on this series. Might have some sort of interest.
Selfish Fairy Mirumo de Pon - Looks like a mix of Sugar and Card Captor Sakura and because I like those two series, I'll watch this.
Herlock - Somewhat familiar with the Herlock saga. I want to watch this, but I'm not really familiar with Herlock overall.
Tsukihime - One of the best anime series to watch this fall; if not, the best. You know that I'll watch this, even though I knew nothing about this series before the anime. Up to this point, this and Scrapped Princess have the best chance of winning my "Anime of the Year" award.
Maburaho - Just as long as it's as fun as Love Hina, I'll watch this.
