Name - Don Umali.
Full Name - Jun Doniro Intal Umali. If you want a translation of my name, it's "The junior squire that departs," and "iro" really is different form Irene, meaning that I really was named after my grandparents on my mom's side as in Donato and Irene, though I don't know what Intal means. I'll hopefully find its meaning soon.

Type up their names when you're in Google next time if you don't know who these people are. In the anime slash manga world, Yanagisawa Michiyo-san, Curry-pan Man in "Anpan-Man", and other various characters, has the same brithday as me. In the video game world, "The King of Fighters's" Jhun has the same birthday as me.

ICQ # - don't use it anymore.

(If I do anything unethical, please message my year-younger brother, e-mail him, stalk him, do whatever you want with him if you want something from me. Well, don't do it all the time, but yeah. Get my approval before you be too hasty and excited.
Oh yeah. For AIM contacts, I can't keep adding on names, seeing that my list is so big. In the future, I might set some sort of requirements. Sure, you can keep e-mailing me, but keep in mind about the AIM requirements.)

1st place in the Fanime staff Trivia game of 2004. (Well, one of them.)
Where to start? I have been in college for quite a while now. I want to become an Asian/Asian-American historian as well as a librarian (which is weird because I didn't like to read when I was younger). My best subject is physical education and science is my worst subject. Up to this point, I've completed half a year of Japanese or a full year, depending on what system you're under.
I hate people taking my stuff, especially my clothes. I also don't like people holding back in games because I would think that the person does not know how to play the game. There are times I don't like people buttering me up. I don't like people touching me. It's mainly because I had a real tough life to live through and a person touching me has a feeling that makes matters worse. Wow! I sure hate a lot of stuff, huh? The one thing I am scared of the most is messing up in life and that will take a while to explain. Oh and I can be hydrophobic.
I have a hard time getting up in mornings. Every morning, I would try to get up, but I have a force saying that I want to go back to sleep. It's a hard battle every single day.
Honestly, I don't like video games. Why? Majority of today's games don't interest me. Plus, some of my favorite companies have been big messes. Finally, now these days, gamers are all about graphics and not about fun.
How did I get into anime and manga? I was aware of various series like "Sailor Moon". However, I did not really become a fan until my junior year in high school.
There were various series I was introduced to. Some of those series include "Ranma", "Tenchi" and "Eva". Since then, I blossomed at a quick rate. I watched and read a lot of series. I even study series I have not watched or read yet. As for clubs, I was the alternative officer back in high school (meaning that if a certain someone was absent, I took over his or her duties). I have been in a few other anime clubs in college.
Well, that's my background of anime and manga. There's not much else I can say here. Yeah.
Anime collection - Not much. I have the "Mahtsukai Tai!" OVA series, "Mononoke Hime" and a few others. As for anime only available in Japanese, I have "Tokimemo", though I need the other volume of the anime, the first 12 episodes of "Mizuiro Jidai" and some others.
Manga collection - The "Card Captor Sakura set", the first three volumes of "Karekano", the first four volumes of "G.T.O." the first two volumes of "Taiho Shichau Zo!", some "Ranma", the third volume of "Area 88", and the first volumes of "Gunsmith Cats" and "Jniky de Tsukamaete". As for manga in Japanese, I have "Azumanga", the first two volumes of "Kimagure Orange Road" and the first volume of "Steam Detectives". Oh and I have the Iro Hina Version of the first volume of "Love Hina", which is the first volume w/ scenes in a brownish shade (hence the "Iro") and some extra items that include a mouse pad, a small poster and a disc containing the pilot segment.
Manhwa collection - The first two volumes of "Ragnarok" and the first volumes of "I.N.V.U." and "Now".
Hong Kong-theme comics collection - The first two volumes of "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon".
Doujinshi collection - Only the first volume of "Megatokyo" for now.
Video game collection - "Virtual Fighter II" and "Kids", some Game Boy Advanced games and a busted up Mega Drive. I miss my Mega Drive since I had a lot of fun games on that system. I also miss my Famicom, and my childhood Game Boy. I don't miss my N64 though. I regret buying the system.
Anime slash manga and video game merchandise collection? - I'll only list what's at the top of my head as well as note worthy. I have shirts of the "Bubblegum Crisis" 2040 girls (which is pretty good, though I like the original BC a bit more), the Evas of "Shin Seiki Evangelion", and Plastik, which is not an anime series, but a display of girls drawn in anime-style, a mouse pad of the Ainu sisters drawn by designer Nanase Aoi-sama, a pencil board of "Taiho Shichau Zo!", a key chain of "Sakura Taisen's" Sakura, a few of Stone Bridge Press books (a popular publisher of anime books), an issue of Animerica, a "Chobits" calender, clear file holders of "Love Hina" and "Di Gi Charat", a "Kero Kero Keroppi" card deck, "Card Captor Sakura" posters, a stuffed doll of "Tenchi's" Ryo-ohki, some music compact discs, a "Tenchi" pencil board, a few "Hello Kitty" pencils, and so forth. I also have some Island Princess shirts and various White merchandise which have drawings look like anime drawings. If you don't know, the Plastik shirts show girls that look tough, the Island Princess shirts show some romantic scenes as well as hilarious scenes of a Hawaiian couple and White shows Korean drawing of a girl in various outfits. I did have an ogi (or folding fan) of Rurni Kenshin with Kenshin on one side and Sanosuke on the other, but I gave that away since it was getting pretty old and I guess one of my relatives in the Philippines needed a fan anyways. Wow! I sure have a pretty hefty collection, huh? ^_^'
Upcoming items to buy - "One Day Isa ng Diwa" and possibly a shirt "Kiddy Grade"
Want list - I'll say it's long. I want a Neo-Geo, a Love Hina wall scroll, Terry's "Mark of the Wolves" jacket (which costs like 50,000 or around $490, I believe), the DVD set of "Taiho Shichau Zo!", a key chain of that one feather worn by "Ex-D's" Lisa and some other items that are not at the top of my head. (Side note - 1 dollar = 100 en or right around there.)
