An Uncrossing Spell 4


This is another way to rid someone of snakes. Appropriately snakeroot, the common name for Cnicus Beneedictis, an anti-rheumatic and Diuretic.

Mix a small amount of snakeroot with three pieces of oak bark and some running briar root and pulverize to a powder. Dissolve it in water (or beverage of choice) and drink. Within three days the snakes will be discharged from the body.

If a spider has been introduced into a person’s body, it may be exorcised with spider weed, a species of Myosotis. Make a potion from spider weed and bathe the person in it. Caution: This is a rather strong remedy. It will cause the person’s hair to fall out and their skin will become dry and scaly, but the spider weed will kill the spider.
