A Spell for a Winter's Eve

Rituals similar to this were performed on country hearths years ago. To help your desires come true, perform this spell a night or two before a Full Moon. Start a fire in your fireplace or wood stove. Gaze into the flames; think of your wish, then say:

“Seasons turn, fire burn.”

Now, take three twigs—one of oak (for strength), one of hawthorn (for wishes), and one of ash (for energy). Tie them together, and say:

”These twigs of oak, hawthorn, and ash,
Burn so what I want will come to pass.”

Toss them on the fire, and watch them burn. The fire and smoke will release your wish into the unseen realm.
