Alaskan Wildflowers
Seen along the Bird Ridge Trail near Bird, Alaska
in Early May, 2003

vIt was a cloudy, windy day on the ridge, but the steep southern exposure allows the trail to be the first to clear of snow and start the presentation of colors. The little early flowers were all there, along with a single blooming lupine.
