PARANORML NEWs NETWORK (P3N) SPECIAL REPORT Hollywood Deal Silences Bakersfield Family September 17, 2000 Bakersfield, CA. (P3N) Gary Lowrey, the Bakersfield Fire Safety Officer whose family has been encountering strange creatures in their home, has signed an exclusive Hollywood agreement to tell his story in video and print. Lowrey, who is scheduled to appear on Mike Siegel's Coast to Coast radio show with attorney Peter A. Gersten this Monday night, notified Gersten that he can no longer appear on the program because his contract prohibits him from discussing his experiences. When P3N contacted Gersten in Sedona, he stated that he was disappointed in Lowrey's decision to no longer share his experiences with the people who have enthusiastically supported him. "I can only assume Gary is more interested in financial gain than in the public's right to know" declared Gersten. When P3N asked Gersten whether he thought that Lowrey had used CAUS and the Bay Area UFO Expo as a way of getting the attention he needed to negotiate a deal, Gersten replied that anything is possible and that "Gary's present actions could indicate both the intent and motive to fabricate certain events." Lowrey refused to discuss these new developments with P3N, instead referring all inquiries to his attorney in California.
