A California video researcher and investigator who has been scrutinizing video footage from NASA shuttle launches says he's found evidence that UFOs and extraterrestrial life forms have appeared on Russian video from the recent STS-106 Space Shuttle flight. STS-106 launched from the U.S. Sept. 8 on a mission to the International Space Station, returning on Sept. 20. Jeff Challender says he's captured a picture taken by a Russian black and white video camera mounted on the ISS's Zarya module. "In it you can see a cigar shaped object in the area of the STS 106 Shuttle," reports the current issue of the Filers Files online newsletter. "Jeff feels there are other anomalies associated with these most recent flights. NASA has been playing very cagey with live video again, much more so than on the May flight of STS-101," said editor George Filer, who suspects that NASA is not releasing to the public domain all of the footage it captures from shuttle missions. "Challender has prepared a new tape of various UFOs that were caught on (other) recent Shuttle video footage. He has noticed that when NASA is picking up UFOs they have tendency to first zoom in to observe the UFO better and then they cut the feed to the outside world," says Filer. "Jeff spends hundreds of hours watching the shuttle broadcasts from space. He is now an expert on NASA missions and even those onboard the shuttle are likely to see what Jeff does. He has gained his experience from watching numerous shuttle missions and using Jeff's directions you will be able to learn the difference between space junk, ice crystals and real UFOs," says Filer. "One segment has 24 UFOs watching the shuttle from space. I feel confident we could go into a court of law and convince any jury that there are UFOs moving at high speed around the Earth." Challender can be reached at Jefchall@worldnet.att.netMeanwhile this week, the Georgia Ufological Association in Russia says it has uncovered information that an elderly woman rescued and cared for an alien being in 1996 near her home in the village of Kashtim in the Ural Mountains. The organization's website reports that the woman found the dying ET on the side of the road, and, thinking it was a human infant, took it home to care for it. Two weeks later, the woman became ill and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The ET, which measured no larger than 8 inches, was reported to have died without care while the woman was hospitalized. Police filmed the body on video on Aug. 13, 1996, reports GUFOA, and "after that they took that body for science investigation, but the KGB has stolen the body." The organization obtained still photos of the VHS images of the suspected ET body and has published them on its website as it investigates the incident further.
