Macy's is nearby Penn Station. Here is a big balloon Snoopy over the Macy's entrance. Peanuts wasn't created until 1950, but Charles Schultz's retirement due to cancer was in all the papers the day I took the photo (15 Dec 1999). In front of the entrance, there is a charity ringer dressed as Santa (you can see him a little better in the other Macy's photo).
